My name is Asher Musgrave. I was a varsity athlete and rower in high school for Sarasota Crew, and I now row Division 1 for Oregon State University. Rowing as a sport and experience is something that came into my life when I needed it most. I found purpose in self-improvement and accomplishing difficult things.
On Motivus Sports episodes, I discuss topics that often get under looked in the world of competitive sports. I delve into the psychology behind youth and collegiate athletics and how mental health is just as important as physical for the wellbeing of student athletes, as well as strategies and recommendations for products or plans that optimize performance. Tune in for in-depth interviews and discussions with special guests about many topics relating to sports psychology.
Motivus Sports is dedicated to supporting athletes through inspirational and educational content, using athletic experience to offer guidance for success via mindset adaptation, behavior change, and product recommendations to further enhance abilities. Along with this, Motivus is dedicated to raising money and resources for local sports and athletic programs that directly support athletes, such as USrowing's STEM to stern program.
I believe exercise and healthy activities are highly beneficial to developing young people and want to help give that opportunity to anyone I can.
